Oak leaf dyed silk crepe de chine scarf

This unique scarf had been dyed using various kinds of oak leaves in a mixed dye vat. The result is a beautiful overlapping leafy design with lots of lines down one edge from the string ties, giving an asymmetrical pattern.

I buy my silk from a supplier that prizes fair trade and sustainability. The silk was cut by me and has carefully frayed natural hems.

It measures 54cm x 172cm. Price includes postage.
